Angel Izaguirre

HE/THEY/HELL

Angel is a Two spirit, Transmasc, punk, Nuyorican Drag King, sideshow performer, producer and host. He performs as Oliver Herface in drag and Angel Inferno under the circus tent. Often melding the two to create a one of a kind high energy, punk rock, vaudevillian experience.

He is a multifaceted performer capable of entertaining a vast range of audiences. From children’s programming and family friendly shows, to adult events, oddities festivals, theatrical spaces and MORE!

His performance art is focused on themes of trauma, culture, racism, colonialism and history. They use their body as an instrument to express the depth of human resilience through intentional and ritualistic performances.

His production work is centered around uplifting trans people of color and creating safe spaces for and by us to create art and be in community. He has been a full-time artist since 2023.

  • With a degree in early childhood education, years of experience as a daycare teacher and even longer being a Titi to a few darling kids, I am very experienced with working with children! I have been a drag storyteller for 5 years, have been performing with Lil Park Drag Show for 3 years (an all Ages drag show) and have been performing in the family Friendly circus sideshow down at Coney Island for the last year. I can create custom programming for any age group!

  • Six years of experience hosting events for huge ranges of audiences! From punk shows to drag nights at Stonewall, to all ages circus shows and bilingual storytimes. Book this loud Boricua to host and entertain your crowds and I probably won’t even need a mic ;)
